What Causes Blood In The Stool?

6 yr old female has had blood in her stool 3x in last 2 weeks. No fever or pain with this. She is a very healthy eater -- eats fresh fruits and vegetables at every meal. Has oatmeal for breakfast. Drinks at least 16oz of water daily. Eats applesauce or and apple -- usually 2 everyday. Should I schedule a doctor's appointment immediately?
