What Causes Blood In The Stool?

My daughter , who is 12 1/2 yeas old. I noticed dark reddish blood in her stools .Earliar about 2 month back, same was observed but that time she had to go 5 to 7 times for potty.and she get cured after receiving infection , antibiotics.presently she goes 2 to 3 times for stools per day

I really appreciate your concern, it may not be exact blood stain stool but it seems to be diet containing that appears like blood the ideal way is to send the stool for testing, and if this is so then it may be due to infection and with proper treatment it will be fine soon hope this information helps.
