Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here..

Hello, I am a 62 year old Veteran. I had blood

in my urine after not being able to urinate after

drinking 4 liters of Movi Prep before a colon exam. Thought I was passing kidney stones but

it was tissue. One peice is a 2 inch section and

looks like a vein. I saved it in a achol solution

and all the blood is gone now and feel fine. I

called the VA clinic but I am still waiting for an

appt to see the doctor. Thank you

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The narrated piece suggests being likely shredded epithelial cell from the
urinary bladder with infective material around it. A lab evaluation of the same with urine microscopy will help a lot.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
