What Causes Blood In Urine After Gall Bladder Stone Removal?
Hi! My 88 yr old father had a stone removed from the bladder & a TURP & a prostate biopsy 9 days ago. He has had occasional blood in the urine which I know is normal but tonight when he passed urine a few blood clots came out. Is this normal too or should we be concerned? Thanks! Jen.
Having gallbladder removed doesn't mean that you can have blood in urine or blood clots. There is no relation between them. Infection, kidney stones or malignancy may cause blood in urine.
He may need to do an urine analysis and ultrasound to determine the cause of bleeding.
