What Causes Blood In Urine Occasionally?

my first urination of the day a couple days back had blood in it. freaked me out. I had green light prostate procedure 5 yrs ago and have had no real troubles since, there is no pain and the urine has been normal sense then, but still freaks me out. what might be wrong? or is this a normal thing that happens occasionally with 65 yr old guys with benign enlarged prostate history? allan byer

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have blood in urine. You had enlarged prostate but procedure done before five year so it has no relation. You may have urinary tract infection or kidney stone or some mass lesion. You should go for urine examination and ultrasound abdomen. It will give you exact idea. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
