Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my 4 month old (son) had small spots which look to be blood in his urine 2 weeks ago. This was unexplained. Not a UTI, had sonogram of bladder, kidneys, stomach and tested for stones. Again today we found blood in his urine one time in the am and nothing since????
Hi Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day
Normal ultrasound has ruled out presence of anatomical lesion causing blood. The blood could possibly be from local lesion like Balanoposthitis which is inflammation of glans and pre puce. Possibility of bleeding diathesis also needs to be evaluated. Would suggest you to discuss with your Pediatrician.
