What Causes Blood In Urine With Negative Urine Test Result For Infections?
I went to the dr. today and was getting a pre-op physical done, for a D&C next week. I had to have a urine test done to check for pregnancy. I was told I had blood in my urine. I have been done with my period for over a week and am not spotting at this time. I was also told that there weren t any white blood cells in my urine, so it isn t an infection. I had some bloodwork done, but am worried about why I have blood in my urine.
In my opinion there is nothing significant to be worried about. I hope your investigations will further confirm it. Now it depends on amount of blood cells in urine if these are in large number it may show renal stone but at the same time it should be associated with some symptoms of pain at kidney areas. In my opinion urine examination should be repeated after plenty of fluids.
