What Causes Blood In Urine?

My husband is 36 and weighs 290 pounds. He is about 5feet7inches tall. He just had a test done at the doctor showing blood in his urine:( He also is having problems getting his penis to get hard for sex even when he is excited it still only rises half the time. What is wrong with him?
