What Causes Bloody Ball Like Stool With Mucus?

My husband is 35yrs old, 6ft and 215lbs. He keeps passing small bloody balls but they do not look like feces and also something that looks like mucus. He had a colonostopy and an cat scan and was told he just had hemroids. He has has started a high fiber diet but does not seem to be working.

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the symptoms of passing blood like substance is really due to the hemorrhoid then it is better to get done the surgery, it is the best option is there, else the fiber containing diet and the mild laxative may give partial relive but it will not cure the hemorrhoid, only the mild form of disease may cure with conservative line of treatment, else surgery is the best one, hope this information helps.
