What Causes Bloody Diarrhea?

Hello. years ago when i was a child, i was full of diarraeah, so much so, when i was at school i often had to change my underwear, got sent home or made to sit in it. It was very bloody. I went to hospital to have a manual operation that removed a large amount of faces from my bowel, and was on heavy laxatives even having a despotary. When i asked my mother how the diarrah occured she said from a bladder infection from toilet training that then affected my bowel and kidnesys. I been trying to read up more on my condition as a child, as i no longer suffer this. and was wondering what of would be the signs if i was sexually abused and why on earth the doctors or school never picked up on this.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of your childhood problem of bloody diarrhea, difficult to control and sexual abuse. You now do not suffer from it.
The cause in childhood can be severe colitis, not recognized and not treated properly. Sexual abuse can enhance the problems and giving you something like a IBS, irritable bowel syndrome.
If you would have been seen by a Gastroenterologist and a pediatrician and if you would have told them the other side of the story, it would have helped you.
Thanks God you are alright now, hence nothing to worry about.
Keep away from stress and anxiety as such symptoms then can occur again.
