What Causes Bloody Vaginal Discharge?

I had a hysterectomy when I was 24 from a prolapsed vagina. I still have my ovaries but they had not been working. I took estrogen until I was 30. I am now 65 and have mucusy discharge for about 3 weeks and tonight it had a bloodish streak or two in it. May I have your opinion , please?

Hello dear , thank you for using HCM. I read your query and understand your concern. I wanted to know the results of your last pap smear . The mucus and blood comes from your colum uteri maybe there is an infection causing the condition. I would recommend a pap smear , and a vaginal smear and a cystoscopy. Best regards.
