What Causes Blue Lips And Pain In Lower Back/ribs?
I have a 16 year old daughter who went to softball practice tonight. While she was warming up throwing the ball she turned pale and lips turned blue. She said her lower back and ribs are hurting. Is this a sign that she is getting sick or that there is something more serious going on?

She needs an urgent Xray of chest and LS spine to be sure about the actual diagnosis. after the Xray has been done, than accordingly treatment can be initiated. for the time being, give paracetamol tablet 1 gram per oral (to be swallowed) wtice daily. and give her rest and mental support.
