What Causes Blurred Vision And Soreness In The Head?

I have had migraines in the past. 2 days ago and again today I had spells where my vision was affected and I was seeing different shapes with jagged edges both with m eyes open and shut. It took probably an hour before they left. Then the right side of my head is sore and my head feels tight and hurts. I m guessing it s migraines but worried it may be something else.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms are typical of migraine. Nevertheless, if your symptoms persist more than 3 days, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and a brain MRI study.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
