What Causes Blurred Vision And Weight Loss While Suffering From Anemia?

hi, I have recently found out i have anemia and my white bloos cell count is low. I have had several problems including fatigue, dizziness, exhaustion, low breast milk supply, blurred vision, dizziness, trouble loosing weight.. etc. I am going to have to get IV Iron 2 separate doses over the next few weeks.... I am wondering if the iron defficiency could be the result of my vision seeming to get more and more blurry??? I have found it to be the cause of the low breast milk, and the lack of energy by "googlon", but still looking for answers on the weight and vision. thanks and God bless!

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Your symptoms are all related to anemia. Yes blurred vision can be seen in anemia, particularly due to poor oxygenation.
2. Due to anemia, you have become fatigued, and your body BMR has decreased. This is causing your trouble loosing weight.
3. You need to take iron supplements.
4. Improve your anemia. If its too low, packed red cell transfusion may be necessary. Discuss with your doctor and correct your anemia as early as possible.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
