What Causes Blurred Vision, Blind Spots And Halos?

Lately I have been having problems with my vision. I have been experiencing blind spots, halos, auras, blurry vision, white-outs, the works. The blurry vision occurs mostly when i am reading, but it s at the point now where I can be walking in the supermarket or driving and I have these episodes . The craziest thing is, they come and go within 5-10 seconds at a time, but happens often enough for me to notice. Could this be the onset of a serious problem, like a stroke?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having symptoms of white outs, blurring of vision..... lasting for few seconds.
These symptoms indicate transient loss of vision or smaurosis fugax.
The common causes are vascular obstructions of retinal vessels, peripheral vascular diseases, prodromal symptoms of migraine....
Hence this requires evaluation to find out the underlying cause to prevent blinding complications.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
