What Causes Body Pain And Anemia?

Hi, I am 27, 5'9", and 220 pounds. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism August of 2010, sense the treatment began I have had serious bouts of pain in my entire system, a high sed rate (3 times to 2 times the normal range), deficient in Vitamin D, and recently i came up Anemic, which was not true of the last 5 tests I have had done. My doctors changed me from 122 levothyroxin, to 88 levothyroxin, but it did not change the extra symptoms I am having. I am extremely tired, get frequesnt headaches, and have trouble focusing. They adjusted the levothyroxin to 88 when my TSH was at .11.

My TSH levels on my last test was normal at 2.3 with a high sed rate and anemia.

I have been tested once for Lupus, lymes, and rhuematoid, all of which came back negetive.

I am extremely tired and sleep alot during the weekends, and have trouble waking up and staying awake on my drive into work (one hour each way). I am not emotionally depressed, nor overly stressed. My menstral cycles are now starting to be irregular, whereas before they happened exactly 30 days apart form eachother.

What is causing my high sed rate, pain, and anemia? Is it my thyroid, and if so what can my doctors or I do?

I think the majority of your symptoms(tiredness, trouble focusing, trouble waking up and staying awake in your drive, your irregular menstrual cycles) are associated with your Hypothyroid state. But if your TSH for the moment is normal (2.3) this means that can be another cause of high sed rate and anemia ,infections for example. My advice is to check for infections ...and then the doctors can understand more about the origin of your pain.
