What Causes Body Pain And Weakness After Stopping Long Term Prednisone?

i stopped my long term predisone 2 days ago and started last nite feeling really week, feverish and sick; this morning i was having chest pains, shoulder pains and weakness and feeling bad and achey all over is this from the withdrawal of it and could it cause something worse than this my dosages were and have been off and on 20 mgs and 10 mgs for : lupus e., RA, fibromaylia and etc. I also have an injured/ hurt knee w/ a multiple of things wrong w/ it

You would need to taper down this drug under medical supervision only. Tapering pattern will vary according to your profile. It will not be same for all. Your doctor will know best. Yes, these do look like corticosteroidal drug withdrawal symptoms. Report to your prescribing doctor at once please.
