What Causes Bone Pain While On Chondroitin Supplement?

Hello Doctor, My mum has osteoarthiritis and has severe pain the cocksyx area, she has been taking Glucosamine and chondroitin supplement for a week now, but has been complaing of sever pain that feels as though her bones are seperating. could it be the supplement, she is also having adjjustments done by a chiropractor? could the supplements be causing this feeling?

These medicines have to be taken long term.I would advise use of cushion for sitting, and sitz bath-sitting in warm water in a tub for 15 minutes for relief of lower muscles in coccyx area. Addition of diclofenac tabs can also be considered
