Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a very small soft bowel movement while sleeping last night. I m a 36 year old female, have never had children, and have well-controlled Type 1 Diabetes with no complications. I am currently under a great deal of stress and have had some stomach pain for the last few days which I assumed was related to anxiety. Should I assume this is anxiety related? Take a probiotic and wait and see? Or go straight to the doctor?
Consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Abdominal ultrasound sonography is helpful for further diagnosis. Avoid stress and alcohol drinking also. Avoid spicy foods and fatty foods.
I hope my guidance is helpful to you. Take care. Thank you very much.
