What Causes Bowel Movements To Be Only Brown In Color?

Yes: question is with all the different colors of solids and liquids that humans eat, why is it that our BM s always come out in a brown tone or color? Let s say all I eat is lettuce or carrots and I only drink milk. Why does my waste not come out the same color as what I eat?

Hi,

It is the formation of stool with the excretory waste products and added digestive enzymes with bile from the liver and expulsion via gall bladder makes the color of stool brown mainly.
