Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Severe Fatigue?
I am 60 yrs old. I have had lyme disease and co-infections since at least the mid 1980's. Major spinal problems and have been bed ridden with the back being broken again and nerve damage. I have had so many problems but as of late I am constantly breathless, tired, stressed, and sleeping about 20 hours a day. I had an abnormal mammogram and they are going to do an ultra sound and some other test. Cancer runs in my family so I will not be surprised if there is cancer but could the lyme disease, breathlessness, etc. all be a part of cancer too.

Breathing difficulty may be due to cardiac or respiratory problems or anemia or anxiety or muscle weakness especially respiratory muscles or hypoproteinemia etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
