What Causes Breathing Difficulty During Winters?

My age is 28 years/65 kgs/5"5' and mother to a 2 months old son. I was feeling problem in breathing(suffocation) usually at night time during winter season (for last 2-3 years).Doctor ruled out Asthma after performing tests and he suggested me two anti alllergic injections followed by Pneumo 23 (Sanofi Pasteur vaccine 0.5 mL ) and Influenza vaccine (Vaxigrip). Should I go with doc suggestion ?

Hi thanks for asking question.
Asthma diagnosis confirm by spirometry that is pulmonary function test.
You might have seasonal asthma.
When winter season start you can start simple budesonide 400 mg containing meterd dose inhalor once a day.
If eosinophil high hetrazane can given.
As preventive aspect leukotrien antagonist like montelukast can be given.
If prevalence of influenza more in your area then vaccine can be given.

Meanwhile if severe difficult breathing occur by bronchoconstriction then nebulization by levosalbutamol and budesonide respule done.

Room heater can be used in winter.
Steam inhalation is good.
No further aggressive treatment needed just now.

In asthma garlic , ginger and eucalyptus is very useful.

Wish you good health.
