What Causes Breathless Feeling When On Hydrocodone-homatropine Syrup?

I have anxiety attacks and I have a real bad cough so I was prescribed hydrocodone- homatropine syrup... I am trying to sleep and everytime I start to doze off I get the feeling tthat I cant breathe and I barely have a pulse... I am afraid my heart will stop beating. I am afraid to fall asleep. Help? Is it possible for this to happen??

There is no relation between the cough syrup and what you feel. You can check your psychiatric doctor as it seems to me that you are having a panic attack.
