What Causes Breathlessness, Chest Tightness While Having Calcific Spot In Hilar Region?

Hello, I am 32 years old male. i had a chest x ray on 19th June and say there is evidence of a calcific spot in the left hilar region. I do not smoke. I a m 68 kgs and 5.7 Height. I was 7 months ago diagnosed with acute Bronchitis and treated. However, since the treatment of Bronchitis, i have had and still have a series of breath shortness, chest tightness and wheezing at any time of the day but wheezing comes at night on bed and early in the morning when i wake up. This lasts for a very short time and i feel better again. I was recommended to have an inhaler which i do have (Ventolin). I just need to know if the calcific spot is part of what has caused all my breathing problems and further steps to take for complete treatment.

Hello

Calcified spot in left hilar region is most likely not related to your symptoms.
Calcification indicate healed stage and it may be due to healed granuloma etc.Generally this condition doesn't require any treatment.
Your symptoms may indicate allergic bronchitis. You are getting right treatment.Bronchodilator and steroid inhaler are mainly used in this condition,
You should also avoid allergen.
