Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
Your doctor has prescribed Zocef for an infection. If it is a lung infection it can produce breathlessness.
The other possibility is that you have a valvular lesion due to RHD and you were in a compensated state. The infection has tiled the balance and your heart condition has become decompensated.
The third possibility is an allergy to Zocef but it is likely to manifest earlier than 3 days.
It would be better to get yourself examined by a doctor and investigated if necessary.
Do get back to me with details of your RHD and recent investigations if you have further queries.
