What Causes Bright Red Blood In Stool?

I have blood in my stool every time I go.
This has happened the past month
The color of the blood is bright red
I frequent the bathroom up to 10 times a day
Most often I get the feeling I have to go but when I do, there's nothing but weird bright red foamy/mucus like substance floating in my stool.
I have no pain, Just the urge to go.

there is a very long list of possibilities unfortunately. I would recommend starting with a normal physical exam with your primary doctor and getting routine blood work. ultimately you will need a colonoscopy. the common causes are diverticulosis and hemorrhoid.
