What Causes Brown Clots And Bleeding After Constant UTI?

Hi, i have had the mirena now for almost 4 years and have just started to loose brown clots and bleeding. I have had a lot of stress lately with marriage break up, so im not sure if it is due to that, but i also have had constant urinary tract infections, and its all slowly wearing me down. Hope you can help?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The vaginal spotting and bleeding could be a side effect of iucd as well. The stress can cause Hormonal imbalance and so sometimes spotting can occur. So all these can contribute to the development of brown discharge.

However, I suggest you consult a gynecologist for detailed pelvic evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
