What Causes Brown Color Urine?

I just asked. got no response. My Dr said my urine was brown almost dirty in color. Im 53yrs old. what could this be?Im going back for test. Im 5ft 2in. I usually weigh around 110 but gained a lot of weight almost 35lbs in just last 3 months. im going thru meanapause too!
