What Causes Brown Spotting After Periods?

I had sex on may 17th, may 24th, 25th, & 31st... june 1st i was bleeding as if it was my period, june 2nd i completely stopped bleeding & now im just spotting then i went to wipe & on the toilet paper it was brown.! Why.? I dont pee out blood or anythint only when i wipe.! I just took a pregnancy test & it came out negative. Whats going on.?
