What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Menstruation?

Hi doc..i had a brownish to pinkish vaginal discharge..which started yesterday(october 20, 2014)the first day of my last menstruation was last october 8, 2014. And my last sexual contact last october 18, 2014.. What could be the possible explanation for this? Thank you

Brown vaginal discharge after mensturation can be retained old blood,can be due to infection.or can be due to hormonal imbalance.You can visit gynecologist and have a local check up for any infection.but nothing to worry.it will subside.thanks.
