What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge Despite Having Negative UPT?

Hi,I need to get my periods on dec5, but that didnt happen... i used meprate 10mg in the month of jan and after 12days of completion of 2 meprate tablets per day i see a brown discharge instead of periods... is that ok or any issue... under went pregnancy test 5 days before the brown discharge and it says negative... wats next... any issue

negative upt with delayed period can be due to stress,pcod,hormonal imbalance,overweight.,thyroid problemsetc..u can have a scan done to know the cause and serum tsh and consult gynec
