Hallow Dear,

The key to your problem lies in your irregular menses. Since you are bleeding irregularly and moreover intermenstrually also, it is likely that your intercourse(s) were around a period of bleeding.

Brown bleeding is old or stale bleeding. The fact that there was clot with the bleeding suggests that this bleeding is coming out of the uterus at a slower rate that the rate of bleeding.

Please get your ultrasonography examination done to look for any evidence regarding tumour in the uterus. With fibroid uterus, such irregular intermenstrual bleeding with clots is known. The cramping and bloating symptoms go with fibroid uterus.

If there is no tumour, please get yourself evaluated for hormonal imbalance. Probably birth control pills for few months can regularise your menses and correct this problem.

The bleeding you are having do not seem to be associated with sexual relations. Please report to your Gynaecologist for evaluation of irregular, intermenstrual and painful bleeding.

I hope this provides you some guidelines.
