What Causes Brownish Vaginal Spotting After Menstruation?

I ve been spotting reddish-brownish (mainly brown) from end of period to ovulation. After ovulation it stops til next cycle. This has happened for 5 cycle or so. I just had 4 babies in 4 years and now the youngest is 1 yr old and I quit breast-feeding 9 months ago. Trying to figure it all out.

Hi,

Brownish vaginal discharge is quite common and it indicates a slow flow. If you are persistently experience brown colored discharge, you have to consult a gynecologist and get a vaginal swab to rule out conditions like yeast or vaginosis.
