What Causes Bruise Like Spots On Buttocks And Spine?

I just noticed that my son, who is 7 months old, has small bruise-like spots on his back. They are located on his upper left butt cheek and somewhat along his spine (almost in a row). We have a nanny, but she seems to be good with the kids (I also have a 2 1/2 year old). He does not seem to show any signs of discomfort when he sees her, which tells me he feels comfortable around her. Should I be concerned?

Brief answer :
Insect bite.

Detailed answer :
Hi, welcome to HCM.
Bruise like spots in a 7 month child could be insect bite which sometimes leave a trail like bruise. If its been due to beating or illtreatmemt then the child would be in pain. I think you should give antiallergic hydroxizine syrup 3 ml three times a day for 2 days and apply local mupirocin cream for 2 days.
I hope this will help you. Take care.
