What Causes Bruise On My Bottom Lip And Numbness In Fingers?

I ve been very tired I have Raynaud s and its worse than ever. I m either freezing or sweating. I have a little numbness in fingers and my hands and finger joints are swollen all night/pain. I have experience stabbing pain in right side of neck and groin area. I took a 30 min nap because I could hardly stay awake. I woke up with a bruise on my bottom lip. No pain or swelling. Oh also when I was napping I had some chest pain that has continued for a few hours. But has stopped. I ve had palpitations in the past. What could all of this be?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

It is necessary performing some tests in order to investigate for the possible causes underlying your complaints:
- Thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation or infection
- A chest X-ray study
- A urine bacterial culture for infection
- Kidney and liver function tests
- A cervical spine X-ray study and chest X-ray study
- An abdominal ultrasound
You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
