What Causes Bruising And Inflammation At Injection Site?

My daughter had MMR Varicella DTaP and IPV shots Tuesday.she got a briuse at the injection sight which has turned into a huge red and blue area on her leg which is very warm to the touch.it is now Friday and it justs seems to be getting worse is this normal or should I be concerned? Don t know if this matters but she fought the whole time and had to be held down

Hi...this looks like a hematoma or bleeding into the muscle. This is not a normal reaction for the vaccine. Be under followup with your pediatrician regarding this. If this is increasing in size then she needs evaluation for bleeding disorder.
