What Causes Bulge In Epic Gastric Region?

My boyfriend is overweight and has had a bulge in his epic gastric region. It gives him discomfort when stretching and when he laughs. He had an abdominal ultrasound today and they said it is neither a hernia or torn chest muscle which the doctor that it was. What could it be? He does have acid reflux

Hi welcome to HCM...

Here epigastric swelling is present ...
USG report will suggest toward intestinal or gastric cause if present.....

But here possibility of soft tissue tumour also can be there....

USG guided FNAC needed first for preliminary work up....
If needed biopsy taken...
It might reveal lipoma or dermatofibroma like tumour....
If present then excised....

Second swelling can also be by intestinal obstructive condition for which USG and x ray useful.....

Keeping this in mind consult physician....
Proper physical examination is utmost needed for work up....
