What Causes Bump On Base Of Tongue, Numbness In/around Ear, Dot In Eye?

I have a bump on the base of my tongue sort of between the tongue base and my gums (the floor of my mouth I guess). However, I also recent had a massage to my neck as it gets knotted up. Within an hour I had numbness to my right ear and surrounding area. It s been about three days. I don t know of the numbness is related to the massage or something more serious. I also recently was at the optometrist and they found a small black dot at the back of my left eye. My ear now after three days also feels mildly. Plugged. It gets mildly sore periodically. These are less prominent symptoms.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, bump described by you in the region of floor of mouth is most likely because of openings of submandibular gland ducts which is a normal structure. The numbness around ear can be related to your massage and can be because of pulling up of some neck muscles and should be fine in few days. Plugging of the ear can be because of wax or debris collection in the external auditory canal. Please get your ear examined by an ENT and if need be get it cleaned. Regards
