What Causes Bump On Nose, Inability To Breath Through Nose After Rhinoplasty?
I had a rhinoplasty done in 2005. The doctor and I had a sixth month follow up in which I discussed the results of the surgery. My nose is now crooked, a large bump is visible on the top right side of it which actually causes the nose to curve. He said he did not notice it and that my nose looks completely straight. He is in denial. It is highly visible, and I have had people ask me if my nose was broken since the bump is obvious. I have not researched a second surgery since I am freaked out at this point. I also cannot breathe out of my nose and cannot wear glasses for long periods of time. What could this be? And is it easily remedied without surgery. I d love to be able to breathe out of my NOSE
If this is really the picture then the surgery has gone not well. - the bump is of dislocated cartilage or improperly positioned one or a soft tissue swelling and should resolve. The other two won't and need to be corrected again surgically only. To breathe thru ur nose surgery or temporary relief with nose drops medication would do. Send a picture pl / photograph- may just need to wait for healing
