What Causes Bumps In The Vaginal Opening After Treating A Yeast Infection?

Hi I have had a small cluster of bumps right under the opening of my vagina for about a month now. They are very small bumps and one larger one. They almost look like skin tags. I have just finished a bad yeast infection and prior to that I changed birth control pills and went through an antibiotic for possible shingles diagnosis. What do you think this might be? They do not really hurt...only to touch and it has not gotten bigger or spread over the month

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I believe the bumps may be related to warts, caused by papillomavirus. Taking antibiotics can't affect them. You should visit a gynecologist to check them and confirm the diagnosis. The right treatment is applying podophyllin on them.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
