What Causes Bumps Inside The Mouth After Taking Clenil?

i am taking clenil ,as a preventer,for C O P D.I HAVE LITTLE BUMPS AAPPEARING ON THE INSIDE OF MY MOUTH,THEY DONT LAST,BUT ALL THIS HAS ONLY HAPPENED SINCE I GOT THE CLENIL.i M SCARED NOW ,THAT THERE COULD BE SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG.i ALSO TSAKE LOTS OF OTHER MEDS FOR DEPRESSION,ANXIETYAND PANKIC ATTACKS.tHANKS!!!!

Hi,

Clenil contains beclomethasone that belongs to the group of medications known as steroids or corticosteroids is used in the treatment and prevention of the symptoms of asthma or COPD. It may interfere the natural balance of microorganisms in the mouth cavity, can increase the risk of developing infections inside the mouth cavity.

In case of using steroid inhaler, the users of steroid inhalers are often more prone to develop an Infection called oral thrush. Oral thrush is caused by a fungus called Candida Albicans. Bumps or raised white, yellow or brown lesions on the tongue, inner cheeks, roof of the mouth, gums and tonsils. Gurgling properly after using steroid inhaler like Clenil, may help to prevent oral thrush. Antifungal medications are the treatment of choice for oral thrush.
