What Causes Burning During End Of Urination With Little Blood?
I am 50, in excellent health (6', 195, athletic). The begining of my urine stream is fine, no pain, etc but the end of stream becomes painful (burning) and a bit of blood is evident. From what I read, because blood and burning is at end of stream, it could be symptomatic of a possible prostate infection?
Hi, Ya in patient of 50 yr or above ,and typical complaint of blood at end of micturation is most propably due to proastate infection or proastatomegaly, For it ultrasound abdo pelvis with prostate size,is needed, along with urine analysis, If found prostate enlarged PSA should be advised, Your stream of urine is good so proastamegaly may not be present it must be infection, possibility of uretric calculi also present, It needs to be ruled out and evaluated, For this you needs to visit an urologist, Hope this information helps.
