General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
Burning sensation after intercourse mainly due to lower urinary tract infections (Cystitis, urethritis) and vaginal infection (Bacterial vaginosis, candidiasis, chlamydia).
Exact diagnosis need examination and proper investigations like: urine routine, microscopic and culture, swab test for infection, PCR, NAAT test, CBC, ESR, Vaginal microscopy, cell culture, KOH mount etc.
Doctor may provide following advice:
Tablet septran and pyridium, nitrolazium, urine alkalizer for urinary tract infections
Single dose treatment of Azithromycine + flucanazole + tinidazole for candidiasis, chlamydia
Tablet metronidazole for bacterial vaginosis.
Take following General measure:
Drink plenty of waters, drink cranberry, orange, pineapple juice
Wear pure cotton loose inner wear
Avoid sexual intercourse till you get better, apply apple cider vinegar, wash vaginal area with warm water 2-3 times per day, urinate after intercourse, always empty the bladder completely
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
