What Causes Burning In Abdomen And Rapid Heart Rate?

My daughter is 9 years old she is burning up and heart is racing, she says she feels fine in herself. I ve gave her neurfon to get her temp down and that isn t working. She is very sleepy. She hasn t eaten in over 12hrs and drinking with encouragement

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your 9 year old daughter, has burning in abdomen and rapid heart rate, given Neurfon to get her temperature down, but not working, she says feeling fine, but is very sleepy and not eaten in 12 hours.
The causes may be as follows:
The raised body temperature particularly in children directly affects the heart that the rate is increased to meed the body demands due to increased basal metabolic rate.
Due to the infection, the children loose appetite and stop eating and feel too much sleepy.
I would advise for him the following:
- Get to the Pediatrician as the condition looks serious. Children go into Dehydration very fast.
Get a the tests of liver, thyroid functions.
May need a proper antibiotic coverage.
Clinical evaluation and investigations help further.
