What Causes Burning Like Smell When Passing Stool?

Hello,

I am 29, female, 5'6, 170 lbs, fairly active, athletic build, generally healthy. Several times over the last year I have noticed a burning rubber smell when passing stool. It's always a random occurrence with no known triggers. Is there a medical explanation for this? Should I be concerned? Thanks.
