What Causes Burning Pain In Groin Area?

Hi I was lying in bed this morning when I had excrutiating burning pain in my groin on the left hand side. After crying and not being able to move for at least 20 minutes I got up and walked around and finally the pain is going after 45 minutes. Bowels have worked with no problems.

Hello,
Burning pain in groin may occur due to various regions like pulled muscle, ligament or tendon, Hernia, disease of hip joint, Kidney stone, enlarged lymph nodes due to infection, testicular/ ovarian tumour, disease of small/ large intestine. Consult a surgeon for physical examination , investigations like total blood count, urine microscopy with culture and sensitivity, USG & x ray of pelvic area, and also CT scan.
