What Causes Burning Sensation And Foul Smell During Urination?
I m having smelly odor during urination, and really no other systoms other than a burning sensation. I have no pain, no abnormal urges to urinate, no vaginal odor or discharge. The only thing I ve changed recently is I m taking Armour Thyroid 1 grain.

Hi,
* As per my surgical experience, the smelly urine with burning sensation indicate urinary tract infection. The change in the thryoid grain is not responsible for the same.
* In the majority of the cases, lack of hydration, excess perspiration, exposure to excess sunlight are main factors.
* Guidelines at present:
- drink more liquids
- cranberry sachet once daily in a glass of drinking water
- avoid sexual intercourse if active
- care of vaginal hygiene
- follow up after 2 days or early as per the need.
