What Causes Burning Sensation And Pain In The Fingers?
Hello, I have been having pain in my two fingers and thumb on both hands. It some times burns. If I make a fist the pain would go away, however lately the pain would come back right away. As a child I was frost bitten, I was told at hospital that they could not do anything for me at that time, they stated when I get older I was going to have a problem with my fingers. I have tried creams sprays pills nothing works. I am 71 years old and I would really like some relief. Sometimes at nigh the pain wakes me it so bad. Help if you can. YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
It may be due to neuropathic causes and you can take analgesics like Gabapentin for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist even after taking analgesics, better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated. Wishing you good health.
