What Causes Burning Sensation And Smell In A Child While Urinating?

My five year old daughter said it burns when she pees. wondering if I should take her to be looked at by a Docotr? since it is also red and has a smell. I have been making her drink cranberry juice and lots of water. she said it feels better but theres still a smell.

Hello!
You havent mentioned about fever.
Still this can be UTI.
In my institute, I advise urine routine & if suggestive of UTI, then urine culture-sensitivity exam. Antibiotics are started accordingly.
X-ray KUB & ultrasound of abdomen is done.
