What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination And Blood In Urine?
I held my pee in too long & when I wiped after I went there was some blood & it kinda burnt a little. Mind you I have a history of bladder infections & when I was 6years old my kidney stopped growing with my body. So I cant really hold my pee in too long before I pee myself. Can you help me find out what it could be? If it s bad?
Burning sensation during urination may be due to urinary tract infection(UTI).Blood in urine may be due to UTI.
You need proper clinical examination and routine investigations. Investigations include routine hemogram, random blood sugar, renal function test, ultrasound of abdomen, urine RE/ME and culture/sensitivity. Nitrite and leukocyte esterase test can be done for confirmation of UTI.
You may need to take full course of antibiotics. You should drink plenty of water.
